许多食品企业已经通过HACCP验证或ISO2200验证，但仍然不能得到全部客户认可。许多客户将独立提出BRC认证规定。作为一个十分相似的食品相关标准，为什么重复规定？主要原因如下所示：

1、BRC认证主要是针对零售业的验证，但目前大多数拥有欧盟市场公司都会做此项验证，由于BRC在欧盟成员国获得高度认可，企业会那样做以提高形象和拓宽市场。是一款食品安全管理体系，偏重于风险性的识别和控制以及食品安全的管理。ISO22000验证在欧盟市场上没有BRC认证的优势。其验证本身是一种系统认证，尽管在很多方面是相同的。

1. BRC certification is mainly for the verification of the retail industry, but at present most companies with EU markets will do this verification. Because BRC is highly recognized in EU member countries, enterprises will do that to improve their image and expand the market. It is a food safety management system that focuses on the identification and control of risks and the management of food safety. ISO22000 authentication has no advantage of BRC authentication in the EU market. Its verification itself is a system authentication, although it is the same in many aspects.

5、GFSI全球食品安全倡议，该组织认可的食品卫生安全包含五个体系：BRC、IFS、SQF、HACCP、FSSC22000。在五个公认的标准中，BRC和IFS很容易被这些零售商接受。这两项规范还涵盖了零售商对产品质量的要求，这与其他两项规范有很大的不同。

5. GFSI Global Food Safety Initiative, the food hygiene and safety recognized by the organization includes five systems: BRC, IFS, SQF, HACCP, FSSC22000.
