无公害农产品是指产地生态环境质量、生产过程和产品质量符合国家有关标准和规范的要求，采用安全生产技术生产，经认证合格获得认证证书并允许使用无公害农产品标志的未经加工或者初加工的食用农产品。
Pollution-free agricultural products refers to the origin of ecological environmental quality, production process and product quality in line with national standards and requirements, using safety production technology, the qualified certification and permit the use of pollution-free agricultural products logo without processing or the early processing of edible agricultural products.
公害包含两方面内容：一是直接损害人体健康。轻则使人日后患病，重则使人当场中毒甚至死亡。二是破坏生态环境，农业不可持续。如农药的不合理使用杀灭了有益生物，破坏了生物圈的动态平衡，使病虫害失控；化肥的过量使用，破坏了土壤结构，使土壤酸化板结老朽化，作物缺素严重，生长不良。
