第一,《标准》对当前社会责任领域的重要概念与原则给出了明确的定义,在一定程度上有助于减少因内容的复杂性导致的对社会责任及其相关问题认识和理解的巨大差异,从而使相关各方能够在基本一致的理论基础上探讨社会责任重大问题,推进社会责任实践,对社会责任运动的发展具有重要意义。
