　　卫生部部长陈竺6月29日指出，落实城乡饮用水安全保障相关规划的目标和任务有一个时间表，到2015年各省(区、市)和省会城市饮用水卫生标准106项指标要实行全覆盖，在地市级城市要覆盖刚才所说的42项常规指标，加上当地重点控制的指标，在县级实现42项常规指标的全覆盖能力。

　　陈竺在回答询问时指出，新标准是2006年由卫生部会同建设、水利、国土、环保等部门提出的，指标由原来的35项增加到106项，重点是加强了对微生物、重金属以及有机污染物控制的要求。106项指标当中，常规检测含42项，其中包括了两项放射性检测指标。

　　陈竺提到，“十二五”期间卫生部将在两方面着力：一是积极落实城乡饮用水安全保障相关规划的目标和任务，严格贯彻执行新标准。到2015年各省(区、市)和省会城市106项指标要实行全覆盖，在地市级城市要覆盖刚才所说的42项常规指标，加上当地重点控制的指标，在县级实现42项常规指标的全覆盖能力。二是在完善机制上下工夫，包括加强管理、落实责任，不断提高饮用水安全保障的能力和水平，从而确保“十二五”末城乡群众饮用水水质得到有效保障。
