江苏电大在教育质量管理过程中注意运用ISO9000管理原则和管理方法，在《试点项目》实践和研究中取得较好效果。

1．以“顾客为关注焦点”深化了以学生为中心办学理念。  组织（学校）依存于顾客这是质量管理中最基本原则。江苏电大远程开放教育为了向学生和社会提供满意教学服务，提出以学生为中心的关注内容

2、以“全员参与”原则促进学导互动式教学模式构建。 全面参与是现代管理重点特征，是一种高效管理模式，建立以学生为主体，以教师为主导的师生互动教学模式，更有利用学生积极性发挥，更有利于学生知识、能力和价值观的构建。

4、以“管理的系统方法”强化了电大系统多层次教学管理。  中国电大教育是由中央电大、省、市、县电大和基层学习中心分层组织教学。江苏电大有12所市级电大、3所二级学院、2所直属分校、64个县级分校、100多个学习中心，只有用（ISO10015）统一教育培训标准和系统化现代信息管理手段才能有效工作和运行。
