测量管理体系对企业计量测试能力和管理水平提出了更高的要求。这个标准是对1992年颁布的ISO10012-1《测量设备的质量保证要求—测量设备的计量确认体系》和1997年颁布的ISO10012-2的《测量设备的质量保证要求—测量过程控制指南》的重大修订和发展，可称之为对企业计量工作一次大的升华和飞跃。
The measurement management system puts forward higher requirements for the measurement and testing ability and management level of enterprises. This standard is a significant revision and development of ISO10012-1 "quality assurance requirements of measuring equipment - Measurement Confirmation System" issued in 1992 and iso10012-2 "quality assurance requirements of measuring equipment - Guide for measurement process control" issued in 1997, which can be called a great sublimation and leap for enterprise measurement work.
