据尼日利亚《商业日报》11月1日报道，尼寄望发展农业，拓展外汇收入渠道，但缺乏全球良好农业操作（Global Gap）体系认证，难以将农产品出口到欧美市场，而一旦通过这一体系认证，各国的连锁超市、学校、餐厅和其他市场将可为产品的进入敞开大门。

据悉，要获得这一体系认证，生产者需要接受从生产、加工、包装、仓储等一系列无害安全检查，以确保食品受微生物危害的风险降到最低，尤其是易腐烂的蔬菜、水果，若想进入欧美的市场，尤其要接受此认证。

据了解，该项国际认证费用昂贵，通常各国都需要在政府的扶持下开展，目前在非洲地区，肯尼亚有1879家企业产品获得认证，南非有1797家、埃及671家、科特迪瓦355家、布基纳法索146家、加纳124家获得认证，而尼日利亚仅有一家企业产品获得此殊荣，由此可见，尼日利亚在这方面做得远不如肯尼亚等其他非洲国家。Gap认证，不仅要在农产品生产环节中规范农药的质量和使用剂量，对包装和标签也有规范，其他问题同样还要回归到国家的基础设施上，良好的道路运输、冷链仓储等都是关键问题，而尼在这方面欠账太多。
