2014年1月10-11日，总局党组成员、国家标准委田世宏主任到鞍钢集团公司进行调研并会见了公司总经理、ISO候任主席张晓刚，就如何认真贯彻落实国务院领导的重要批示，充分利用我国代表担任ISO主席这一有利条件，在认真履职尽责的同时，大力提升我国在国际标准制定的话语权，推动我国技术标准体系和国际标准化水平建设等问题进行了深入交流和讨论。

田世宏主任指出，张晓刚担任ISO主席职务，一方面，要积极履行好ISO主席职责，在ISO战略、政策和规则制定以及推动国际标准化发展中发挥重要作用。

田世宏主任表示，国家质检总局、标准委将在组织机构、人力资源、研究力量和办公条件等方面提供保障，全力支撑张晓刚作为ISO主席更好地履职尽责，有效发挥ISO主席的作用，推动我国实质性参与ISO国际标准化活动。
