这是一个发生在第二次世界大战中期,美国空军和降落伞制造商之间的真实故事。在当时,降落伞的安全度不够完美,即使经过厂商努力的改善,使得降落伞制造商生产的降落伞的良品率已经达到了99.9%,应该说这个良品率即使现在许多企业也很难达到。
