a）目标  提高供应商所在国家的社会标准作为公司在全球经济一员中的社会责任的一部分。这将是一个由供应商、政府以及其它供应商所在国的利益方所共同承担的长期持久过程。

Membership is divided into two kinds, respectively is the formal and informal membership membership. Full members are actively involved and suppliers into BSCI qualification and audit procedures retailers, traders and manufacturers. Informal membership is in the process of interest but not directly involved in any companies, associations and organizations. Member of board of directors have the right to decide admission and expelled from the members of the BSCI membership. Any intention to withdraw from the BSCI member can, at the end of each year before the six months to submit written notice.
      一经加入，会员就要承诺概括支持并促进BSCI及其目标。特别是承诺审核其供应商并将它们纳入遵守社会责任的程序中。这种审核和纳入应在一个合理的时间范围内进行，此乃由会员与代表委员会共同商定。会员有义务按BSCI缴款体系交纳会费。如果不遵守或没有履行会员义务，就有可能会被取消会员资格。
